The San Diego Tribune called the Mighty Cash Cats "America's #1 Tribute to Johnny Cash."
The Mighty Cash Cats cover all six decades of the Man in Black's career including fun Johnny and June duets like "Jackson." "If you never had the chance to see Johnny Cash and June Carter perform live, then cheer up, the Mighty Cash Cats’ Michael J and Leticia are filling the void." Will Phoenix, LA Examiner
The Southern California based band has toured coat to coast in the US, including Las Vegas, and this past year did a European Tour with stops in Dublin, Paris, and London.
The Salt Lake Tribune wrote that "The Mighty Cash Cats are as close as you can get to the real thing." And the Jerusalem Post confirmed that in a review of their concert in Israel: "If the audience closed their eyes during Michael J’s show they, no doubt, thought that Johnny Cash had managed to find his way back to the terrestrial bandstand.”
The band includes in their show a "Tribute to the Women of Country Music and Rock n Roll" featuring tunes by some of Country Music and Rock n Roll's female superstars." The Ventura Star wrote: "Leticia Blumette tears it up with that powerhouse room-filling voice." The review also wrote:
"The Mighty Cash Cats’ are an excellent band. There’s no shortage of Cash Cats’ fans. Rockers and rednecks, bikers and bankers, white wine and Jim Beam drinkers, country fans and punk rockers and whatever’s in between–this band is for you!" Bill Locey, Time Out
"THE GREAT NEW ALBUM BY THE MIGHTY CASH CATS IS A TRIP THROUGH AMERICAN ROCK, COUNTRY, AND FOLK MUSIC. THE TITLE TRACK, ‘THE BALAD OF JOHNNY AND JUNE’ HAS THE FEEL OF A BOB SEGER, GLEN FREY ROCKER. MICHAEL AND LETICIA CAPTURE THE SPIRIT OF JOHNNY AND JUNE. THE CD IS A PLEASANT TRIP THROUGH AMERICANA MUSIC”
Mighty Cash Cats' Concert Review from AXS.com:
“The Mighty Cash Cats get casino crowd to ‘Walk The Line’ . . . dance that is”
“The Mighty Cash Cats captured the hearts of the audience at The Tortoise Rock Casino and their new fans happily surrendered. They left their mighty mark on the Tortoise Rock Casino. There was an interesting mélange of music fans in the audience. It was a multi-racial, cross-generational crowd. It was obvious why the band’s music inspired the crowd to start dancing. Anyone could see that their high energy show brought the audience to it's feet.”
"THE MIGHTY CASH CATS are PHENONMENAL!"
"Johnny Cash was a musician that many tried to imitate, and failed to do so, with an elegance in style and stature that was truly one of a kind.
Until Now !
The Mighty Cash Cats are phenomenal. They are not just a tribute band. Like the Man in Black, himself, The Mighty Cash Cats are the real deal. Their new album, The Ballad of Johnny and June, is awe inspiring. The Mighty Cash Cats are the real deal."
"The Mighty Cash Cats live show is very impressive and beautifully performed with a strong musical skill set by the entire band-a powerful and passionate group including a precision lead electric guitar and drums blended with bass and acoustic guitar guided by Michael J’s outstanding vocals and phrasing.
Bass player, Leticia Blumette, has a powerful voice with a sassy sexiness and her delivery and ease with the material along with her rapport with Michael recalls Johnny Cash and June Carter on stage together."

Another review of the Mighty Cash Cats latest CD:
"THE MIGHTY CASH CATS ARE A ROCKIN' FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH"
"Michael looks and sounds so much like Johnny Cash that when I listened and closed my eyes, it was as if I was really listening to Johnny Cash. Michael can deliver the goods and his band, The Mighty Cash Cats, really shine as well throughout the entire CD. The Mighty Cash Cats are more than just another cover band. They are a Rockin’ Force to be reckoned with especially their original material on the album." Jason Houston, Chaotic Riffs Magazine

The Mighty Cash Cats perform an authentic recreation of a Johnny Cash Concert covering all six decades of his career from his early Sun Records hits to his final Grammy winning Rick Rubin produced "American Recordings.” Their show includes fun Johnny Cash and June Carter duets like “Jackson.”
In addition to their Johnny Cash Tribute, the Mighty Cash Cats play Classic Rock, Country Music and Blues. "Tribute bands are groups that clone popular acts. Rarely is any innovation or true reverence involved.
And then there’s the Mighty Cash Cats.
There’s an integrity and honesty about the Mighty Cash Cats and their music that you don’t usually get elsewhere". Cary Ginell, Simi Valley News
"The Mighty Cash Cats’ are an excellent band. Michael J channels Johnny Cash and Leticia Blumette tears it up with that powerhouse room-filling voice. They work all the time because they can totally do this. There’s no shortage of Cash Cats’ fans. Rockers and rednecks, bikers and bankers, country fans and punk rockers and whatever’s in between –this band is for you!" Bill Locey, VC Star
