Michael J Smith performed Johnny Cash’s music for many years with The Rhythm Rangers (www.rrangers.com or www.myspace.com/rhythmrangers). Michael spent many years touring both with his own band and several name artists and his credits include playing as a sideman with groups such as Canned Heat and Albert Collins.
Kenny Lee Lewis on upright bass, electric bass, 12 string guitar, and vocals. Kenny Lee Lewis is one of Southern California’s finest bass players.
Craig Newton on guitar and vocals. Michael J and Craig worked together in the Country Rock group, The Rhythm Rangers(www.rrangers.com) They had a record on the Top 40 radio charts, toured extensively, and were several times voted Southern California’s best group.
Leticia Blumette on vocals and guitar, and keyboards. A music reviewer commented that ”Leticia Blumette does a spot on June Carter.”
Steve Ebner on drums. Steve drives the band with Cash’s signature ” boom-chica-boom” train beat.
