Michael J and the Mighty Cash Cats recreate Johnny Cash’s music accurately but as fans pay homage to the man in Black without resorting to parody. They give a high energy fun presentation that makes the listener feel like they are at one of Johnny’s concerts.
“From the moment the Mighty Cash Cats took the stage, the audience started to whoop and holler. Our gathering of RV enthusiasts from all over the country had over 1000 people from teens to seniors. I was amazed by Michael J’s likeness to Johnny Cash. And when he started to sing, I thought I was back at one of Johnny’s shows . His duet with Amy Harrington on “Jackson” brought the house down. And their 4 way vocals and harmonies on will the Circle Be Unbroken got a standing ovation. Fantastic! They were gracious enough to do several encores. Everyone asked me to book them again for next year.” R Webb, Live Oak, Santa Barbara, CA
